You know you're in the right place when you can smell the BBQ even before you get to the door. I enjoyed that as soon as you walk through the door, you are greeted with so many festive Halloween decorations. I don't know why, but I get such happy positive vibes. Whether you're here to drink, eat, or both, it just sets the mood. I came here to place an order for take-out but left with so much more. While I was waiting for my food, I ended up talking to one of the owners. I was taken aback when he thanked me for coming here. It's my first time here. I was like, ok. He told me that they have been open for 13 years now. He showed me the outdoor eating area and explained to me the typical layout they have on warm nights and game nights, etc. They have a fire pit similar to what they use for their bbq and a projector to play the game for everyone to watch outside. Visualizing what he said, I can only imagine it gets super packed here on the weekend. Even on that cold night, he had turned the fire on for me to be able to take pictures and see the full vibe. It was so cool. I highly doubt my pictures can do it justice. I was very thankful that he took the time to share that with me. They were pretty busy, too. We ordered: 1. Pineapple jule margarita - This was yummy and warmed me up while waiting for my to-go order. 2. Wagyu dip - I forgot what this was called, but it was delicious with the tortilla chips. Super flavorful. Once you start eating it, you can't stop 3. Smoked Brisket sandwich with fries - The brisket was tender and juicy. The bread was nice and fluffy. It just melts in your mouth. Fries were amazing. 4. 2 item deconstructed plate 1/2 rack St. Louis Ribs and local spicy sausage with homemade bbq chips and mashed potatoes - The ribs literally fall off the bone tender, and the spicy sausage wasn't spicy but flavorful with all the seasonings. The chips were tasty. I didn't care too much for the potatoes. 5. Chocolate cake - moist chocolate cake 6. Pumpkin cheesecake - This was light and not too heavy. It tasted like it was homemade. 5. Snickers cake - I liked this it wasn't a generic candy car cake where they put pieces of the candy bar on top. It tasted like it was homemade and re-created it to taste similar to a snickers bar. Thank you very much for the warm hospitality. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back soon.

After a full day at Hershey Park this was one of the only places open. Can't say enough good about this place... outdoor seating, friendly staff, beers/cocktails and excellent brisket sandwich. Don't hesitate, just go. Family friendly.

Had a island breeze drink, smoked wings, spicy sausage, classic burger and the cowboy ribeye. Drink was alright. Would ask for a double the amount of rum next time. Barely felt or tasted any. Everything else was great, I personally think the wings are a bit over rated but by no means bad. Still amazingly delicious. Got it so are maple spice sauce and doom. The 2 hottest they have. The spice level between them is so drastically different. Wish they had something more in between. The steak and burger...holy crap. Been to a bunch of steakhouses and I can only think of 1 that can out steak them. Fantastic. The burger is just a classic good ass American burger. I requested mustard. Service was fantastic, people were great. Super accommodating, honest and forgiving. When I asked for wings I never specified boneless or bone in. They brought me boneless. (To be honest if you're getting wings, bone in should be the default.) but they apologized to me and got me the bone in right away. I never specified, but the server was super nice, and kept telling me it was his fault. I did not expect such amazing food from this dive bar. 10 out of 10 would go again.

So we were looking for a restaurant that was open after 9 and we found Babes. I'm glad we did! The service was the min we walked in was great, Jake took care of us and was super friendly and personable. The food was delicious and came out fresh and quick! The suggestion of the Brussels sprouts were spot on and I'm glad I got them. I ordered the ribs with shredded Brussel sprouts and Parmesan orzo, absolutely delicious. The bartender also did an awesome job with the drinks. We spoke with manager Bill to let him know how happy we are with our experience. Cute place and it made us feel Comfortable with the music and vibes. We're visiting from New Jersey but will 100% be coming back!!!

We placed a call for take out. It was a large order (didn't get it all pictured) but the woman who took my order was super nice and patient. The spicy wings we ate happy to get the sauce on the side because it tasted like the bomb hot sauce (which is super spicy). But the chicken is cooked to perfection. Everything was delicious and we had no complaints. Just good classic meals. The restaurant is a house, and there was parking in the back lot. It was small but there's plenty of spaces back there.

Went back to Babe's the very next day (Saturday night. Make a reservation because it gets super busy) because it was so good. We were seated outside on the beautifully decorated patio!! And we were lucky enough to get the best waitress again!!! KrisTEN is by far the sweetest person ever. We hugged and made plans to see each other again!!! This time we got shrimp tacos YUM!! The girls got the boneless chicken wings, loaded tots and French fries. My friend got the brisket tacos. OH and the sausage appetizer was amazing! Also need that recipe!! The food did not disappoint! This restaurant is a diamond in the rough! Incredible service, food is so fresh, and meat is super tender. Dave entered greeted us at the door and checked in on us during the meal. McKenzie was an incredible server throughout the whole dinner service. We had two racks of ribs, brisket, salmon, sausage, chicken wings - Jamaican, BRB, Bourbon Buffalo. We had to rounds of the chicken wings and the sausages. It was so good that we asked if they can open another location in Southern California!

Stopped for an early dinner after hubs got off work in Harrisburg. They open at 4:00 we arrived at 5:00. Within 20 minutes the patrons were streaming in. Some for dinner at a table. Some eating at the ample bar. Owner greeted us and chatted us up. He was very friendly. We got the pirogi appetizer. It was different. The dough was a bit crispy like pie dough on the ends and not quite like typical pirogi dough. They were very large - 2 come to an order. For dinner, I had the bone in ribeye with mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts, Hubs had the salmon special with sweet potato, waffle, fries, coleslaw, and brussels sprouts. My steak was cooked perfectly, the mashed potatoes were good. You could taste the borsin cheese in them. The brussels sprouts however were not exactly my favorite. They were sliced thin on a mandolin and were very, very lightly sautéed. I do like my brussels sprouts sautéed more. But these were a raw, , coleslaw texture. So this is more of a personal preference on my part. For Hubs salmon they asked him how he wanted it cooked. He got it medium. Well, it was quite well done on the outside and still a bit raw on the bottom for him. But he said it was tasty. The sweet potato waffle fries were good as was the coleslaw. He also was not as fond of the brussels sprouts. We got dessert to go. We opted for the cheesecake, although when I was walking out, I heard another waitress, telling her patrons about the toppings which my waitress didn't tell us about but oh well. At any rate, the cheesecake was extremely good and well worth nine dollars a slice. The slices were very large. Overall was a nice experience, I did go upstairs to use the restroom, there are other seating areas upstairs. There's also an elevator for those who cannot manage the stairs, which I thought was nice. Rather large bar with plenty of televisions for sports fans. They do play music overhead, which gets to be a bit much sometimes it makes it hard to talk, but it was OK. Offstreet parking is plentiful and allows. Very easy access to the restaurant. We definitely had a nice time and consider going again

The place is a little hard to find, but well worth it you have to drive down an alley to get to the entrance and find parking but once you get there and walk inside, you'll be greeted immediately with a smile. Staff is friendly and the ambience is very trendy. This is the place to go in West Hanover if you love meat, meat, meat! The barbecue was good and the specialty sausage is to die for. That's saying a lot for a Texan. I rounded my meal out with some mashed potatoes and asparagus. I wasn't disappointed. All in all, I would definitely eat here again.
